Accra, Ghana – November 2, 2025 — Businessman and Former Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong, has called on the Christian community to take an active role in Ghana’s moral and national transformation by exposing fake pastors and strengthening collaboration between the church and political leaders.
Speaking at the inauguration of Eternal Life Church, Favour Centre – Accra, Mr. Agyapong commended the leadership of Archbishop Charles Agyinasare and Bishop E.O. Ansah, stressing that genuine men of God are crucial partners in rebuilding public trust and promoting national integrity.
“Just as there are corrupt politicians, there are also fake pastors who make the work of genuine men of God very difficult,” he said. “Some of these so-called pastors indoctrinate the masses, put fear in their members, and use the name of God for personal gain. But I also recognize and respect the genuine ones who preach truth and uplift lives.”
Mr. Agyapong recounted his past efforts to expose religious fraud, noting that Archbishop Agyinasare was among the few senior clergymen who publicly supported him. He emphasized that collaboration between political and religious leaders is essential to restore morality, create jobs, and rebuild confidence in Ghana’s leadership.
“We politicians have our share of corruption, and so do you,” he added. “But together — with honesty, collaboration, and faith — we can reset this country and build a better Ghana.”
The event brought together prominent clergy, political figures, and members of the Christian community united under the shared goal of national transformation through faith, integrity, and action.
