The campaign team of Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong has issued an important notice warning the public, particularly New Patriotic Party (NPP) delegates, about fraudulent text messages being circulated in his name.
According to the statement, unidentified individuals are disseminating deceptive and inflammatory messages using a compromised message ID falsely linked to the presidential aspirant. The communication described the circulating texts as “fraudulent” and emphasized that they do not reflect the views, intentions, or official position of Hon. Agyapong or his campaign.
The team assured supporters that steps have been taken to discontinue the use of the compromised message ID. Moving forward, all official communication from Hon. Ken Agyapong’s campaign will be issued strictly through verified and authenticated channels.
Hon. Agyapong further encouraged delegates, supporters, and the general public to disregard any unauthorized messages and stay alert to misinformation designed to mislead or create division within the party.
The campaign reaffirmed its commitment to running a clean, transparent, and principled political process anchored on its core values of Patriotism, Honesty, and Discipline.
