NPP Presidential hopeful Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong has urged both former and newly elected party executives to work together in unity and purpose as the campaign enters a decisive phase.

Speaking at a gathering of party stakeholders in the northern region, Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong emphasized that his vision for Ghana—particularly the five northern regions—depends on teamwork, trust and shared responsibility.

“I know all the former chairmen and executives are here to complement the efforts of the new leadership,” he said. “To the newly elected executives, you will be an integral part of my administration when I am elected as President. Together, we must focus on creating jobs and bringing development to the five northern regions.”

He appealed to party delegates and grassroots leaders to help convince the youth and their communities to rally behind his vision for industrialization, agriculture, and job creation.

“I cannot do this alone, even when I win. I will rely on you. Have confidence in me and don’t be deceived by propaganda that I will dismiss those who didn’t support me. That is not true,” he affirmed.

Ken Agyapong further explained that leadership must be guided by inclusiveness and wisdom, warning that vindictive politics only weakens the party and divides communities.

“If you remove one person, you don’t lose just that individual—you lose the votes of their family and friends too. That’s not wise politics,” he cautioned.

Ending on a light note, the former Assin Central MP humorously reminded delegates of his ballot number, saying:

“This is democracy—vote for whoever you believe can deliver results. But please, don’t give me number 14!”

Ken Ohene Agyapong continues his message of hope, development and transformation, pledging to empower the youth through innovation, industry, and honest leadership.
