Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong has shared a heartfelt message on the occasion of Ash Wednesday, emphasizing the spiritual and moral significance of the day for Christians worldwide.
In a post on his X page, he wrote:
“Today, we observe Ash Wednesday, a solemn moment of reflection for Christians around the world.
This season calls us to humility, discipline, and renewal. It reminds us that true leadership is grounded in service, strength is sustained by faith, and progress must be built on character.”
Ken Ohene Agyapong described Lent as a time to pause, evaluate one’s life, and recommit to higher standards, spiritually, morally and personally. He encouraged Christians to use this period to strengthen faith, grow in purpose, and become more intentional in their actions.
“May this period of reflection refine our hearts, strengthen our resolve, and guide us as we strive to build better families, stronger communities, and a greater nation,” he added.
