KEN AGYAPONG: “MY GOAL IS TO SURPASS KWAME NKRUMAH’S RECORD”

NPP presidential aspirant Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong has boldly declared his intention to pursue unprecedented national development if given the mandate to lead Ghana. Speaking passionately about his long-term vision, he stated that his aspiration is to exceed the legacy of Ghana’s first President, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong described Nkrumah as his role model, praising the monumental achievements the former President accomplished with a population of only 4 million — projects that remain impactful decades later, even as Ghana’s population stands at 36.8 million.

“As a UP member, I always speak the truth,” he said. “Nkrumah’s level of development was exceptional and that is why I am determined to beat his record.”

He emphasized that his presidency would be anchored on aggressive development and tackling one of the country’s most urgent challenges: unemployment.

“The biggest problem Ghana faces today is unemployment, especially youth unemployment,” he noted. “I will work to drastically reduce it through large-scale development, job creation, and real economic transformation.”

Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong reiterated his commitment to bold leadership, industrial expansion, and a future where Ghanaian youth have meaningful opportunities.
