As part of her ongoing efforts to promote compassion and social responsibility, Mrs. Christiana Agyapong, wife of Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong, has made a generous donation to the Akuapem School for the Blind in the Eastern Regioin on Wednesday, 22nd October 2025.

The donation, valued at GHS 100,000, included essential food items such as rice, sugar, gari, cooking oil, water, Milo, milk, and soft drinks, as well as sanitary pads, toothpaste, tissues and other personal care items. In addition, Mrs. Agyapong presented an undisclosed amount of money to further support the needs of the students.

During the presentation, Mrs. Agyapong expressed her heartfelt admiration for the resilience and optimism of the students and staff. She reaffirmed her belief that every child deserves equal opportunity and dignity, regardless of circumstance.

“This visit is a reminder that compassion is a duty we owe to one another as Ghanaians. We must continue to show love through action and uplift those who inspire us with their strength,” she said.

The gesture forms part of Mrs. Agyapong’s broader Unity Tour initiative, which emphasizes empathy, inclusion and national togetherness as she continues to support her husband, Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong, in his campaign for the NPP flagbearership.
