Gushiegu, Northern Region – Businessman and NPP Presidential Hopeful Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong has urged party faithful in the Northern Region to reject propaganda and demand real solutions from politicians seeking their votes.

Speaking to delegates and community members during his Unity Tour in Gushiegu, Hon. Agyapong emphasized that his message is about development, jobs, and unity — not insults or empty promises.

“I came here to deliver my message, to tell you what I can do for Gushiegu and the five Northern Regions. I am not here to insult anybody,” he said. “But you’ll see some politicians come here with propaganda because they have no message and no business ideas.”

The outspoken legislator reminded delegates of his past sacrifices for the party, recounting how he supported parliamentary candidates with cash donations and materials even after losing an election.

“When I lost, I still campaigned for our candidate. I gave some constituencies ₵100,000 each, streetlights, sewing machines, and more. Yet, no one ever called to say thank you — but I’m not worried; I did it for the party.”

He also addressed false allegations and rumors aimed at discrediting his campaign, dismissing them as political gimmicks from opponents who lack a clear message.

“They say if Ken Agyapong becomes flagbearer, the NDC will arrest him. These same allegations were sent to the U.S., investigated, and dismissed. I’m still here today because truth always stands.”

Ken Agyapong concluded by calling for unity within the New Patriotic Party (NPP), reminding delegates that victory in 2028 depends on electing a candidate who can truly connect with Ghanaians.

“Everywhere I go — in markets, churches, and among the youth — people are calling for Ken Agyapong because they see power and leadership. We don’t want a flagbearer who can’t win power. Let’s unite and win 2028 together.”

He ended with a passionate appeal:

“On January 31st, look up there and vote Number 1 — Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong!”
